From resolution to filed minute

Resolutions move from draft to vote to signature to the minute book without leaving the product, including built-in e-signing.

A resolution has a lifecycle: drafted, reviewed, brought to a vote, signed, and filed. Boards Care carries it through every stage without leaving the product — no handing off from a board portal to a separate e-signature vendor partway through.

Once a resolution passes, request signatures directly. Signers can go in parallel or in a set sequence, and an administrator places signature, initial, date, and text fields on the document visually before sending. Each signer opens a magic link — no account, no software to install — signs or declines, and the finished document is stamped with a completion certificate anyone can use to verify it.

A signed resolution files itself into the minute book, alongside the agenda, minutes, and notices generated on your organization’s own letterhead. The minute book is the official record: every entry links back to its source documents, so a resolution’s vote, signatures, and filing sit in one place instead of scattered across a portal, an inbox, and a shared drive.
